l have been prescribed Prednisone before for asthma related issues, but last time they increased my dosage by 10mg. l have never had any serious side effects, it was mostly mood swings and a bigger appetite. Today around late afternoon l took a pill and now I am starting to feel something similar to a high? I am not sure what is going on...
You need to be very careful with Prednisone! My sister was prescribed Predinsone for a viral lung infection, and she had a psychotic break! It took at least two weeks to get the drug out of her system, before she could function normally again!
Now I have been taking the drug for lung infections, (I have COPD). for over fifteen years, and I have NEVER had a problem with it!
Some people are just allergic to it!
