prednisolone is synthetic steroid, C-21 H-28 O-5, similar to hydrocortisone & used in various compounds as an anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, & antiallergic drug.
prednisone is a synthetic steroid, C-21 H-26 O-5, similar to cortisone that is used as an antiallergic & immunosuppressive drug & as an anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
Both r steriods, anti-inflammatiory agents, immunosuppressent drugs but r used for different things. Prednisolone is us for antiallergic drug. And prednisone r used in the treatment of RA (rheumatoid arthritis)
